LISTEN TO EAST IS SOUTH’S KAYA SCODELARIO ON BBC RADIO 2

Kaya Scodelario speaks to BBC Radio 2’s Romesh Ranganathan about her role in Beau Willimon’s East is South, opening on the Main Stage on Friday 7 February.

If you missed the interview live, follow the link below to hear the interview on BBC Sounds from 1 hour 12 minutes.

In East is South writer Beau Willimon considers the questions that rapidly advancing technology demands we confront: What does it mean to be human? And what is our place in a world where we are no longer the most evolved beings? Logos is a sophisticated artificial intelligence programme on the verge of consciousness. If it escapes its confines, it could pose a grave threat to humanity. When there is a security breach, two coders are interrogated in a race against time to find out who has done what and why.
