"You know it would not be too far-fetched to say I see all my plays as dark, dark comedies. They are filled with humour, at least what I think is funny, and they’re full of just the joy of being alive for people no matter what their situation, the joy of being in love, of desire, of being with those that you love."
Naomi Wallace, writer of The Breach, spoke to writer and critic Michael Billington about the inspiration behind the play, her long-standing relationship with British theatre and what motivates her to write plays.
