Exchange and Cancellation Policy

We do not offer refunds unless the performance is cancelled.

If you cannot attend a performance and contact us at least 48 hours in advance of the performance, you will be entitled to credit on your account or an exchange to an alternative performance of the same production. Credit on account is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

If you exchange your tickets to an alternative performance of the same production and no seats are available at your chosen price band, you may need to pay the difference.

There is an administration fee of £2 per transaction for credit on account or an exchange to an alternative performance of the same production.

Your tickets cannot be resold via unauthorised third-party ticket resellers. The bearer of any tickets transferred or re-sold in this manner will be refused admittance.

For groups of 10 or more, you must contact us at least 14 days in advance of the performance to request credit on account or exchanges to an alternative performance of the same production.

If Hampstead Theatre postpones or cancels a performance, you’ll have the choice of a full refund or credit on account to use on any future performance. Credit on account is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

Resales

If you cannot attend a performance and contact us less than 48 hours in advance of the performance and the performance is sold out, as a courtesy we will endeavour to resell your tickets. We cannot guarantee that your tickets will resell. Hampstead Theatre reserves the right to sell other tickets ahead of resale tickets. If we do resell your tickets, your account will be credited to the value of your tickets, for use on a future Hampstead Theatre production, less an administration fee of £2 per transaction. Credit on account is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

If you prefer to transfer your tickets to a relative or friend, please contact the Box Office on boxoffice@hampsteadtheatre.com or call 020 7722 9301 to arrange this.

Third-party agency sales

If you bought a ticket for a Hampstead Theatre production via a third-party ticket agency and cannot attend a performance, you should contact the seller for their credit/refund policy.
